Overview

CLX001 is a peptide-based antineoplastic agent formulated in nanoparticles. It is being developed by Cytolytix, a subsidiary of ValiRx, and was originally licensed from King's College London. The drug acts as a cell death stimulant and modulates cell membrane permeability, enhancing the ability to disrupt cancer cell membranes. Its primary indication has been for triple negative breast cancer; however, it has also been investigated for other solid tumors. As of the latest updates, development appears to have been discontinued at the preclinical stage[2][4].
