Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLXR-001 is an investigational cell therapy developed by Cardiogeni, consisting of Ischemic Myocardial Progenitor (iMP) cells. These cells are specifically defined by the expression of surface markers including CD304 (Neuropilin-1), EGFR, CD363 (S1PR1), and IL-8R. CLXR-001 is designed to treat heart failure and ischemic cardiomyopathy by promoting myocardial repair, stimulating angiogenesis, and improving cardiac function through the regenerative potential of the progenitor cells. The therapy is currently in Phase 2 clinical development, targeting patients with chronic heart failure resulting from ischemic injury.
