CLY-201

**CLY-201 is a highly selective TYK2 (Tyrosine kinase 2) inhibitor in clinical development for the treatment of Type 1 diabetes.** It is designed to halt T-cell mediated inflammation that destroys insulin-secreting pancreatic beta cells, targeting a fundamental pathological process in Type 1 diabetes. Phase 1 single and multiple ascending dosing studies have been completed in healthy volunteers, showing no significant adverse events at exposure levels predicted to show efficacy. A Phase 2 study in patients with Type 1 diabetes is planned to evaluate safety, glycemic control, and circulating C-peptide levels. The agent is being advanced by Clywedog Therapeutics as part of a broader pipeline addressing autoimmune and metabolic diseases[4][9].
