CM-09

CM-09 is a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Curemeta for the treatment of solid tumors, including metastatic colon, gastric, and pancreatic cancers, as well as human embryonal carcinoma. It consists of a chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting the TRA-1-60 cancer stem cell surface marker, conjugated to the cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) via a protease-cleavable maleimidocaproyl-valine-citrulline-p-aminobenzyloxycarbonyl (MC-Val-Cit-PAB) linker. This technology is similar to that used in the FDA-approved ADC Adcetris. CM-09 is a chimeric precursor to the humanized version, CM-14 (bstrazumab).
