Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CM-2489 is an oral small-molecule inhibitor of calcium-release activated calcium (CRAC) channels developed by CalciMedica for immune and inflammatory disorders, notably moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis. It selectively targets store-operated calcium entry mediated by the ORAI1 channel and its activator STIM1, thereby suppressing T-cell activation and downstream cytokine production, and functions as a first-in-class CRAC channel inhibitor that completed Phase I clinical evaluation before development was discontinued.
