Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CM-ADSC eye drops are an experimental ophthalmic therapy consisting of the conditioned medium (secretome) derived from adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs). This conditioned medium contains a variety of growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular vesicles (exosomes) that promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and support the health of the ocular surface. The therapy is being investigated for the treatment of refractory corneal and conjunctival epithelial disorders, as well as severe dry eye disease, where standard treatments have failed. By leveraging the paracrine effects of stem cells without the need for direct cell transplantation, these eye drops aim to restore the integrity of the corneal and conjunctival epithelium.
