CM-AT

CM-AT is a proprietary, high-potency oral enzyme replacement therapy developed by Curemark for the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in children. The therapy targets a specific physiological subset of the autism population characterized by a deficiency in fecal chymotrypsin, a biomarker identified by Curemark that indicates impaired protein digestion. By providing exogenous proteases, CM-AT aims to restore the availability of essential amino acids necessary for the synthesis of key neurotransmitters, thereby addressing the core behavioral and cognitive symptoms of ASD. The drug has completed Phase III clinical trials and received Fast Track designation from the FDA. Curemark has also explored the application of its enzyme platform for other neurological conditions, including schizophrenia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and Parkinson's disease.
