Overview

CM082 (vorolanib) combined with paclitaxel is an investigational combination therapy being studied primarily for advanced gastric cancer. CM082 (also known as vorolanib or X-82) is a small molecule multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFRs), platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFRs), and other kinases involved in tumor angiogenesis and proliferation. Paclitaxel is a well-established chemotherapeutic agent that stabilizes microtubules, thereby inhibiting cell division and inducing apoptosis in rapidly dividing cancer cells. The combination aims to leverage the antiangiogenic effects of CM082 with the cytotoxic activity of paclitaxel to improve outcomes in patients with advanced cancers, particularly those who have failed prior therapies[1][2][3].
