Overview
CM313 + dexamethasone is an investigational combination therapy consisting of **CM313**, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD38, and **dexamethasone**, a synthetic glucocorticoid. CM313 binds to CD38 on hematologic cancer cells, promoting cell death through mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP), and apoptosis induced by Fc-mediated cross-linking. It also partially inhibits CD38 enzymatic activity, which can modulate immune responses[1]. When combined with dexamethasone, a corticosteroid widely used to suppress inflammation and as part of hematologic cancer regimens, CM313 displays synergistic anti-tumor activity and increased efficacy in preclinical models of multiple myeloma and lymphoma[1][2][3]. The combination is under clinical investigation for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma, systemic lupus erythematosus, and immune thrombocytopenia[1][5].
