Overview

CM380 is a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) antibody targeting both GPRC5D (G-protein coupled receptor family C group 5 member D) and CD3. It is designed to stimulate T cells via CD3 engagement while simultaneously binding to GPRC5D, which is highly expressed on malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma. This dual targeting redirects cytotoxic T lymphocytes to attack and kill GPRC5D-expressing tumor cells. Developed by Keymed Biosciences, preclinical studies have shown that CM380 has favorable antitumor effects and tolerability. As of 2024, it is being prepared for clinical evaluation in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma[1][6].
