CM500

CM500 is a peptide-based radiopharmaceutical developed by Lumina Pharmaceuticals for use as a diagnostic imaging agent in positron emission tomography (PET). It is being investigated in two radiolabeled forms: [64Cu]CM500 (copper-64) and [68Ga]CM500 (gallium-68). These tracers are designed to bind to specific targets on solid tumors, enabling high-resolution imaging via PET-MR or PET-CT. The primary objective of CM500 is to improve the detection of solid tumors throughout the body, potentially identifying smaller lesions than conventional imaging techniques. Early-phase clinical studies are focused on evaluating the safety, biodistribution, and pharmacokinetics of these tracers in both healthy volunteers and patients with cancer.
