CM518D1

CM518D1 is a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Keymed Biosciences. It targets CDH17 (Cadherin-17), a member of the cadherin superfamily that is highly expressed in multiple gastrointestinal cancers, including colorectal, gastric, pancreatic, and esophageal cancers. The drug consists of a CDH17-specific monoclonal antibody linked to a cytotoxic payload, enabling precise delivery of the chemotherapeutic agent to tumor cells expressing CDH17. This targeted approach combines the specificity of antibodies with the potent cytotoxicity of chemotherapeutics. Preclinical studies have demonstrated strong direct cytotoxic activity against tumor cells, potent bystander killing effects, excellent plasma stability, and favorable safety and therapeutic window profiles. As of June 2025, CM518D1 is undergoing Phase I/II clinical trials in China for advanced solid tumors[2][3][5][7].
