Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CMAB022 is a biosimilar monoclonal antibody candidate being developed by Taizhou Mabtech Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of MabPharm Limited. It targets the p40 subunit shared by interleukin-12 (IL-12) and interleukin-23 (IL-23), effectively blocking their signaling pathways. This mechanism is identical to that of the reference product, ustekinumab (Stelara). CMAB022 is intended for the treatment of various inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, including psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development, utilizing self-developed innovative technology platforms.
