CMAB819 is a PD-1 inhibitor monoclonal antibody developed as a biosimilar to nivolumab. It was initially developed by Sinomab Bioscience Ltd. and later by Taizhou Mabtech Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. The drug was designed to target the PD-1 (Programmed cell death protein 1) pathway, which plays a key role in immune regulation. CMAB819 was being investigated for various oncology indications, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and non-small cell lung cancer. However, clinical development appears to have been discontinued.
