CMN-001 (formerly AGS-003) is a personalized, autologous dendritic cell-based immunotherapy developed by CoImmune for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma. The therapy is produced by collecting a patient's own tumor tissue and monocytes. The monocytes are differentiated into dendritic cells and then co-electroporated with amplified autologous tumor RNA (capturing the full spectrum of patient-specific neoantigens) and synthetic CD40L RNA (to enhance dendritic cell maturation and T-cell activation). Once administered, these dendritic cells present tumor-specific antigens to the patient's immune system, specifically eliciting a memory T-cell response against the cancer. It is currently being evaluated in combination with standard-of-care checkpoint inhibitors and tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
