Overview
CMOP + chidamide is a combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of the CMOP protocol (cyclophosphamide, mitoxantrone hydrochloride liposome, vincristine, and prednisone) together with chidamide. Chidamide is a selective benzamide class histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor that targets subtypes 1, 2, 3 of class I HDAC and subtype 10 of class IIb HDAC. The combination aims to leverage the cytotoxic effects of standard chemotherapeutic agents in the CMOP regimen with the epigenetic modulation and pro-apoptotic activity provided by chidamide. This approach is being investigated for its potential to improve outcomes in hematologic malignancies such as lymphoma by inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis through both direct cytotoxicity and alteration of gene expression via HDAC inhibition[2][4].
