CMS-F021 Gel is a topical antimicrobial candidate developed by Hainan Demei Pharmaceutical Technology, a subsidiary of China Medical System (CMS). It is intended for the treatment of superficial skin and soft tissue infections (SSTIs) caused by Gram-positive bacteria. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials in China to evaluate its safety, tolerability, local irritation, and pharmacokinetic profile across various concentrations (0.2%, 0.6%, and 1.2%). As a topical formulation, it aims to provide effective antibacterial activity at the site of infection while minimizing systemic exposure.
