CMVPepVax

**CMVPepVax** is an investigational therapeutic peptide vaccine developed by City of Hope to prevent cytomegalovirus reactivation and disease in cytomegalovirus-seropositive, HLA-A*0201-positive recipients of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The vaccine contains a human cytomegalovirus pp65-specific CD8 T-cell epitope covalently linked to a tetanus T-helper epitope and is formulated with PF03512676, a Toll-like receptor 9 agonist adjuvant. It is intended to restore or augment pp65-specific cellular immunity after transplantation, thereby improving control of latent cytomegalovirus and reducing the need for antiviral treatment.
