CMX-02

CMX-02 is a preclinical protein therapeutic from Complix’s Alphabody platform, described as a biospecific immunotherapeutic that simultaneously targets tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) and interleukin-23 (IL-23) while also incorporating cell-penetrating Alphabody activity against the anti-apoptotic protein MCL1, thereby functioning as an apoptosis stimulant, immunomodulator, IL-23 inhibitor, TNF-α inhibitor, and MCL1 modulator for oncology and severe autoimmune indications.[3][7] Complix and its partners have used Selexis/KBI Biopharma’s SUREtechnology expression platform to generate high-yield bispecific constructs, with CMX-02 envisioned for diseases such as psoriatic arthritis and Crohn’s disease in addition to cancer, although its global R&D status remains at an early, pending stage without reported human trials.[1][3][5][7]
