**CND-Dox-TF**, also termed **CDT**, is an investigational transferrin receptor 1-targeted carbon-nitride-dot nanocarrier for delivery of doxorubicin in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. It consists of carbon-nitride dots covalently conjugated to doxorubicin and human holo-transferrin. The transferrin component binds transferrin receptor 1 on malignant cells and promotes receptor-mediated endocytosis, enabling intracellular release or separation of the doxorubicin-containing component and nuclear accumulation of doxorubicin. In preclinical diffuse large B-cell lymphoma models, CND-Dox-TF produced greater potency than unconjugated doxorubicin, induced DNA damage and apoptosis, and showed improved tolerability when substituted for doxorubicin in R-CHOP-like treatment in patient-derived xenograft models.
