CNK-UT002 is an allogeneic T-cell therapy developed by ST Phi Therapeutics, utilizing the company's proprietary CNK-UT platform. The therapy involves T cells engineered with a chimeric NK receptor (CNK) designed to recognize a broad spectrum of NK cell receptor ligands, such as NKG2D ligands, which are frequently overexpressed on the surface of various tumor cells. This approach allows the engineered T cells to recognize and eliminate tumor cells across multiple indications, including solid tumors and T-cell malignancies. CNK-UT002 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for solid tumors and is in IND-enabling development for T-cell leukemia and lymphoma.
