CNM-Au8

CNM-Au8 is an orally administered suspension of clean-surfaced, catalytically active gold nanocrystals developed as a disease-modifying therapy for neurodegenerative diseases. Its primary mechanism is to act as a catalyst for cellular energy metabolism and redox reactions, supporting neuronal survival and function by enhancing ATP production and reducing oxidative stress. Preclinical and clinical studies suggest that CNM-Au8 may improve nerve cell survival, function, myelin repair, and communication by boosting energy reserves in neurons and oligodendrocytes while clearing toxic metabolic byproducts.
