Overview

CNR-400 (also referred to as the CNR-400s series) is a pipeline of multi-target botanical therapies being developed by Canurta Therapeutics for the treatment of neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's disease, and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Developed using Canurta's proprietary PolyKye platform, CNR-400 formulations are standardized botanical blends of polyphenols (such as cannflavins A and B), cannabinoids, and terpenes. CNR-400 candidates exert neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL) and fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH), two key enzymes in the endocannabinoid system that contribute to neuroinflammation. Preclinical studies in models ranging from C. elegans to zebrafish have demonstrated the potential of CNR-400 to mitigate motor neuron disease, enhance motor function, and support neuronal health.
