Overview

**CNSI-Fe** is an investigational intratumoral nanocarbon iron suspension developed by Sichuan Enray Pharmaceutical Sciences for solid tumors. The product uses nanocarbon particles as a carrier for ferrous iron, with ferrous iron described as the active component. Following local injection into a tumor, the nanocarbon carrier is intended to facilitate intracellular delivery and local retention of iron; iron-mediated Fenton chemistry is intended to increase reactive oxygen species and lipid peroxidation, thereby inducing ferroptotic tumor-cell death. CNSI-Fe is being evaluated as monotherapy in advanced solid tumors and in combination with radiotherapy, including studies in soft tissue sarcoma and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
