codalytic

CodaLytic is a novel oncolytic virus immunotherapy developed by Codagenix. It is based on an engineered, attenuated influenza A virus created using the company's synthetic attenuated virus engineering (SAVE) platform, which introduces hundreds of silent mutations to reduce viral fitness while maintaining immunogenicity. CodaLytic selectively targets and replicates in cancer cells, sparing normal healthy cells. Its primary mechanism involves direct lysis of tumor cells and stimulation of anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is being developed for intratumoral administration in patients with metastatic or otherwise inoperable breast cancer, including triple-negative subtypes. Preclinical data indicate safety and genetic stability, and a phase 1 clinical trial has been initiated to assess safety, dosing, and preliminary efficacy[1][2][3][4][5].
