Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Antemig is a fixed-dose nutraceutical combination containing coenzyme Q10, feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium), and magnesium, developed by PiLeJe for the prophylaxis of migraine in adults. The supplement targets multiple pathophysiological pathways associated with migraines: feverfew contains parthenolide, which inhibits the release of serotonin and pro-inflammatory prostaglandins; coenzyme Q10 acts as an antioxidant and electron carrier to address mitochondrial dysfunction; and magnesium helps correct deficient energy metabolism and neuronal excitability. Clinical evidence suggests that daily supplementation significantly reduces the frequency of migraine attacks, with studies showing a reduction from 4.9 to 1.3 migraine days per month after three months of use.
