Cofrogliptin (HSK7653) is a novel, ultralong-acting oral dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is characterized by its long plasma half-life and supports a dosing regimen of once every two weeks.
