Drug intelligence / Profile preview
COL-121 is a novel vitamin D analog developed by Deltanoid Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of plaque-type psoriasis. It is designed to provide anti-psoriatic effects similar to earlier vitamin D analogs like calcipotriol, but with an improved safety profile, specifically aiming to eliminate the adverse effects of hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria. The drug is also intended to be more stable and easier to administer than previous generations of vitamin D analogs.
