cold-treating granules

Cold-treating granules (治伤风颗粒) is a combination pharmaceutical drug used to relieve symptoms of the common cold. It contains a blend of Western pharmaceutical ingredients and traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. The Western active ingredients include acetaminophen (paracetamol), caffeine, noscapine, and chlorphenamine maleate, which provide analgesic, antipyretic, antitussive, and antihistaminic effects, respectively. The herbal components, such as Pueraria lobata, Ephedra, Cinnamon twig, White peony root, Jujube, Ginger, Licorice, and Ginseng, are traditionally used to dispel wind-cold, relieve exterior symptoms, and clear heat, contributing to overall symptomatic relief. It is administered orally.
