Coley vaccine

Coley vaccine (also known as Coley's toxins or Coley Fluid) is a sterile mixture of inactivated bacteria, historically consisting of gram-positive *Streptococcus pyogenes* and gram-negative *Serratia marcescens*. Originally developed by surgeon William Coley in 1893, the preparation is designed to mimic an infection, inducing a controlled fever and stimulating a broad immune response to target cancer cells. In modern clinical practice, it is utilized as an adjunctive immunotherapy by organizations such as Saisei Mirai, where it is administered intravenously to trigger fever-mediated immune activation in cancer patients.
