Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Colgate Anywhere Travel Toothpaste Tablets are an eco-friendly dentifrice formulation containing 0.243% sodium fluoride as the active ingredient. Developed by Colgate-Palmolive and evaluated in clinical research by investigators at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, these tablets are designed to reduce dental plaque and gingival inflammation (gingivitis). Sodium fluoride, a small molecule, works by promoting the remineralization of tooth enamel and inhibiting the metabolic activity of plaque-forming bacteria. The tablet form is intended as a portable, water-reduced alternative to conventional toothpaste, and its efficacy was demonstrated in a randomized, open-label trial (NCT05805865) published in the American Journal of Dentistry in 2023.
