colopivir

Colopivir (also known as KL-060332) is a small molecule direct-acting antiviral (DAA) developed by Sichuan Kelun Pharmaceutical for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. It functions as an inhibitor of the HCV non-structural protein 5A (NS5A), a multifunctional protein essential for viral RNA replication and the assembly of new virus particles. In clinical development and real-world practice, colopivir is typically administered orally as colopivir hydrochloride in combination with other DAAs, such as the NS5B polymerase inhibitor sofosbuvir, to achieve high rates of sustained virologic response (SVR) across multiple HCV genotypes. The drug has been evaluated in late-stage clinical trials and real-world safety and efficacy studies in China.
