Overview

Coltect is a dietary supplement formulated with a combination of natural agents: curcumin, green tea, and selenomethionine. It has been investigated for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, particularly as an add-on treatment for active ulcerative colitis. Preclinical studies have also explored its chemopreventive effects in colorectal cancer. Curcumin, a key component, is known for its immunosuppressive effects, partly mediated by the inhibition of NFκB. Coltect is approved as a food supplement by the Ministry of Health in Israel.
