Overview

COM902 is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains), an immune checkpoint protein expressed on various immune cells, particularly tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. By binding to TIGIT, COM902 blocks its interaction with the poliovirus receptor (PVR), thereby enhancing T cell activation and anti-tumor immunity. It is being developed as an immunotherapy for advanced solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, both as monotherapy and in combination with other checkpoint inhibitors such as PVRIG inhibitors (e.g., COM701) or PD-1 pathway blockers. Preclinical data indicate synergistic effects when combined with these agents. The drug is administered intravenously and has shown acceptable safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary antitumor activity in early-phase clinical trials[3][4][5][6][8][9].
