Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Combiflam IcyHot is a marketed topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory combination product from Sanofi India formulated as a gel and spray for local relief of musculoskeletal and joint pain. The product contains diclofenac diethylamine, methyl salicylate, menthol, virgin linseed oil, and benzyl alcohol, with diclofenac serving as the principal nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory component that inhibits cyclooxygenase mediated prostaglandin synthesis, while menthol and methyl salicylate provide counterirritant cooling and warming sensations that support symptomatic pain relief. It is used for conditions such as arthritis-associated joint pain, back pain, neck and shoulder pain, sprains, strains, muscle pain, and sports injuries, and is applied topically multiple times daily.
