Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Combiflex Lipid is a multi-chamber parenteral nutrition product developed by JW Lifesciences. It is designed as a three-chamber IV bag system containing a lipid emulsion (typically refined soybean oil), glucose, amino acids, and electrolytes. The compartments are separated by breakable partition walls, allowing for the mixing of components immediately prior to administration. It is indicated for patients requiring parenteral nutrition when oral or enteral feeding is impossible, insufficient, or contraindicated, providing essential calories and nutrients. Certain formulations, such as those containing omega-3 fatty acids, are designed to support metabolic health and provide a balanced supply of essential fatty acids.
