Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Combinerv is a multi-ingredient dietary supplement developed by Libytec Pharmaceutical for the management of peripheral neuropathies, including diabetic neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, and sciatica. The formulation combines four key components: alpha-lipoic acid (ALA), acetyl-L-carnitine (ALC), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and vitamin B12. These ingredients work synergistically to provide potent antioxidant defense and neurotrophic support. Alpha-lipoic acid and superoxide dismutase (provided as GliSODin, a complex with gliadin for enhanced stability) act as scavengers of reactive oxygen species and superoxide radicals, thereby reducing oxidative stress-induced nerve damage. Acetyl-L-carnitine facilitates mitochondrial energy metabolism and supports nerve fiber regeneration, while vitamin B12 is essential for the maintenance and repair of the myelin sheath. Together, these components aim to improve nerve conduction velocity and alleviate symptoms such as pain, numbness, and tingling associated with nerve compression or metabolic damage.
