Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Complete Menopause Relief (rhaponticin + beta-caryophyllene) is a non-hormonal, standardized medicinal botanical blend developed by Blueroot Health and its subsidiary Fairhaven Health for the management of vasomotor symptoms and mood disturbances associated with menopause and perimenopause. The formulation combines rhaponticin, a hydro-stilbene extracted from Siberian rhubarb (*Rheum rhaponticum*), with beta-caryophyllene, a terpene derived from Copaiba oil (*Copaifera langsdorffii*). Mechanistically, rhaponticin acts as a selective estrogen receptor beta (ERβ) agonist, while beta-caryophyllene functions as a dual agonist of estrogen receptors (ERα and ERβ) and a preferential cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2) agonist. This multi-receptor activation targets both the thermoregulatory center and the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis to alleviate hot flashes, night sweats, and anxiety. The combination is currently marketed as a dietary supplement and is undergoing further clinical evaluation.
