Complex phytoadaptogens is an investigational oral botanical mixture used as chronotherapy adjunctive to non-surgical periodontal treatment for chronic generalized periodontitis. The trial-defined CFA preparation contains alcoholic extracts of *Glycyrrhiza glabra*, *Rhodiola rosea*, and *Eleutherococcus senticosus* in a 2:1:1 ratio. It was evaluated by the Vladikavkaz Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the completed randomized NCT04623164 study, which was listed as Phase 4. The mixture is intended to provide broad adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immunomodulatory effects rather than selective engagement of a defined molecular target.
