Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Compound 10m is a novel pyrrolidine aryl carboxamide derivative being investigated as a potential chemotherapeutic agent for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It demonstrates anticancer potency comparable to OSU-2S and is approximately two-fold more potent than Sorafenib in HCC. The drug's mechanism of action involves inducing apoptosis in cancer cells, possibly through the activation of Protein Kinase C delta (PKCδ), and it also contributes to cell cycle arrest and the inhibition of cancer cell migration, while exhibiting a favorable safety profile on normal cells.
