Overview

Compound 11a is a potent and selective small molecule antagonist of the NR1/2B subtype of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors. It has demonstrated the ability to potentiate the effects of L-DOPA in a rat model of Parkinson's disease when administered orally.
