Compound 386

**Compound 386** is an investigational traditional Chinese multi-herb formula, also called Nourishing Liver and Kidney Compound 386, being developed by Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for hepatitis B virus-related decompensated cirrhosis. The formula is derived from *Xu Ming Yi Lei An* and publicly reported components include rehmannia root, glehnia root, ophiopogon root, and angelica root. It is being evaluated as Compound 386 granules in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter clinical study, alongside antiviral therapy, with overall survival and safety as principal objectives.
