Overview

Compound 55 is a novel macrocyclic derivative that functions as a potent inhibitor of ATP-citrate lyase (ACLY), a key lipogenic enzyme involved in the synthesis of fatty acids and cholesterol. It has demonstrated strong ACLY inhibitory activity (IC50 = 8.3 nM), high binding affinity to ACLY, favorable pharmacokinetic profiles, and potent hypolipidemic effects in vivo.
