Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Compound Beclomethasone Camphor Cream (Wuji Gao) is a topical combination medication used to treat various inflammatory and pruritic skin conditions. It contains the synthetic corticosteroid beclomethasone dipropionate, which provides potent anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects by activating glucocorticoid receptors. The formulation also includes several volatile and traditional ingredients: menthol, synthetic camphor, methyl salicylate, borneol, and thymol. These components contribute cooling, analgesic, and mild local anesthetic properties, helping to relieve itching and pain associated with insect bite dermatitis, papular urticaria, eczema, contact dermatitis, and neurodermatitis. While Shuangren Pharmaceutical is identified as a distributor, the formulation is a standard generic pharmaceutical product widely available in the Chinese market.
