Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Compound Buguzhi Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Chongqing Kerui Pharmaceutical. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with kidney yang deficiency, such as lower back pain, weakness in the knees, and joint discomfort. The formulation is a multi-herb "compound" (Fufang) that typically centers on *Psoralea corylifolia* (Buguzhi) as the principal ingredient, which is traditionally used to warm the kidneys and strengthen the skeletal system. Other constituent herbs, such as *Epimedium* and *Astragalus*, are included to synergistically tonify the kidneys, replenish qi, and promote blood circulation. The product is approved and marketed in China as a pharmaceutical TCM preparation.
