Overview

Danoshu is a fixed-dose **buccal tablet** formulation of cydiodine and dyclonine hydrochloride being developed by Beijing Renfu Junwei Pharmaceutical Technology Development for **recurrent aphthous ulcer**. Cydiodine is intended to provide local antiseptic activity through release of active iodine, while dyclonine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic intended to reduce ulcer-associated oral pain. A completed Chinese Phase 1 study evaluated single- and multiple-dose safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy adults; the registry record specifically assessed dyclonine hydrochloride pharmacokinetics.
