Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Compound Herba Lysimachiae Granules (also known as Fufang Jinqiancao Keli) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used for the treatment and prevention of urolithiasis, including kidney and ureteral stones. The preparation is a combination of several botanical extracts, with *Lysimachia christinae* Hance (Jin Qian Cao) as the primary active component, supplemented by *Plantago asiatica*, *Imperata cylindrica*, and *Zea mays*. It is pharmacologically characterized by its diuretic, litholytic, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic activities. The drug works by increasing urine output, promoting the dissolution and expulsion of stones, and reducing the formation of calcium oxalate crystals. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 4 clinical trials to assess its efficacy in preventing the postoperative recurrence of renal and ureteral stones.
