Overview
Compound Muniziqi Granules (MNZQ) is a traditional Uyghur herbal medicine developed and manufactured by Xinjiang Uygur Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The formulation is a complex mixture of 13 medicinal plants, including *Peganum harmala* (seeds), *Pimpinella anisum* (fruit), *Foeniculum vulgare* (root bark), *Dracocephalum moldavica* (seeds), *Ocimum basilicum* (seeds), *Althaea rosea* (seeds), *Nigella glandulifera* (seeds), *Apium graveolens* (root), and *Cichorium intybus* (root). Based on traditional Uyghur medicine principles, it is used to restore humoral balance and is primarily indicated for the treatment of various skin diseases. Experimental research has demonstrated that the formulation possesses anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities. The drug is administered orally in granule form and is currently approved and marketed in China, where it is included in the national medical insurance catalog.
