Overview

Compound Shenlu (SLG) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation used primarily as a kidney-tonifying and blood-nourishing preparation. It is most commonly applied in the supportive treatment of aplastic anemia (AA), particularly for patients with kidney-yang deficiency. Clinical studies suggest that it may improve hematopoietic function and quality of life in AA patients. Metabolomics data indicate that SLG influences aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis and other metabolic pathways relevant to hematopoiesis[9][4]. The formulation consists of multiple herbal ingredients; however, the precise composition can vary by manufacturer or clinical protocol.
