Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Compound Vitamin B tablet is an oral multivitamin formulation containing a combination of essential B-complex vitamins, typically including vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), nicotinamide (vitamin B3), calcium pantothenate (vitamin B5), and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine). These vitamins serve as vital cofactors and precursors for coenzymes involved in cellular energy metabolism, amino acid synthesis, and neurological function. The formulation is widely used to prevent and treat vitamin B deficiencies, support metabolic health, and manage peripheral neuropathies. It is being evaluated in clinical trials, such as the PANDA XII study sponsored by Nanjing Medical University, to assess its potential in reducing major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery.
